    About Gofal Cymru Care

    We specialise in supporting teenagers and adults with learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorder, acquired brain injury and mental health issues. This includes those whose behaviour can sometimes be challenging.

    Our well trained staff team have experience in supporting people with mild to moderate learning disabilities and mental health needs, including severe anxiety disorder, depression, psychosis, paranoid schizophrenia and personality disorder.

    We operate six residential care homes across Cardiff and the Vale, set within local communities at Danescourt, Gabalfa, Fairwater and Barry.

    Timothy House

    Timothy House, established in 2008, is the flagship service of Gofal Cymru
    Care. It accommodates six adults aged over 18 with various learning disabilities, autism, and
    mental health issues.

    Rees House

    Rees House is Timothy House's sister home, accommodating a maximum of
    six individuals over 17 years old. It provides residential care and support for those with
    learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs.

    Mariam House

    Mariam House is an end-terrace house located in Barry. It is accessible, with
    amenities such as shopping areas and leisure centres nearby.

    Ty Connie

    Ty Connie is a detached, three-bedroomed dormer bungalow in Fairwater,
    Cardiff. It's designed to complement the needs of the individuals served.

    Ty Soberton

    Ty Soberton offers residential care and support for individuals aged 16 and
    over with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. It may include those with
    additional medical conditions.

    Ty Croeso

    Located in Gabalfa, Cardiff, Ty Croeso offers residential care and support for
    up to 4 children between 12 and 18 with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health
    needs. It includes those with other medical conditions.

    Ty Jibreel

    Ty Jibreel is one of two semi-detached properties in Whitchurch. It provides
    24-hour care and support for up to three children between 12 and 18.

    Ty Mikail

    Ty Mikail, located in Whitchurch, adjoins Ty Jibreel and offers 24-hour care and
    support for up to three children and young people aged between 16 and 25.
